DYNAMIC_l_a_n_d_s_c_a_p_e_
It was 2007, when I started an social and art project with a Benelux context called DYNAMIC_l_a_n_d_s_c_a_p_e_ .
The work on it continues still today. Here again I make a visual analysis of a social landscape, which is interpreted through photographic images. The images are created mainly during travels at different places with the use of elementary photographic method. The lack of images due to the prolonged shooting or Balloon has lead to the verge of the abstract. Later the shots are arranged in a slideshow with a gradual change from a cadre to a cadre in an abstract narrative ‘from morning till night’. Namely because the distance from the real image was made on purpose, the focus was on the visual richness of nuances, rhythm and structures. The dematerialization has been aimed at personal provocation of the imagination. There is only constant feeling of fast movement similar to a children’s roundabout. The intended impression on the viewer is a mixture of visual meditation and spontaneous questions. Both virtuality and movement are so common to our dynamic daily lives, very often at the expense of much deeper categories to concentrate on….
The project is a work in progress as it continues during different travels and gives many opportunities for artistic-photographic impressions and visual-social analysis.
